ISO certification is a statement to your stakeholders, customers and employees that the business wishes to operate to a standard framework in order to achieve its objectives. By setting and achieving customer-focused business objectives, you are establishing your company’s commitment to continual improvement as well as increasing its credibility and customer confidence in your product or service.
Many government or larger businesses require ISO certification and use it as a prerequisite in the quote/tender process. ISO certification helps to ensure everyone is on a ‘level playing field’ with their competitors and improves your chances of successfully tendering.
3. How much does an ISO certification in Queensland cost?
ISO Certification costs vary dependent on the size of your business, level of complexity and standard to which the company is already run with regards to processes and procedures. If you decide to implement more than one standard at the same time, there are some reduced fees available.

With ISO Brisbane, provided you follow the process and implement the system correctly, you may be ready for your ISO certification audit just 60 days after your initial gap analysis.
5. How do I get an ISO certificate?
You will receive your ISO certificate within days after successfully completing your ISO certification audit with a JAS-ANZ accredited 3rd party or certification provider.

6. Who issues ISO certificates?
ISO Certification will be issued by your chosen 3rd party JAS-ANZ accredited body.
7. do I need An ISO Audit?
Yes, you will need to be open to the audit process and this is the only way to gain certification. Remember ISO Brisbane can be there to support you through the entire process.
8. How do I prepare for an audit?
ISO Brisbane will provide you with a roadmap on how to successfully prepare for your audit.
9. What ISO standards are recommended for my business?
This will depend on many factors such as your business scope, legislative requirements and many more. We generally suggest to start with ISO 9001:2015 and then give consideration to other systems based on risk and client requests.
10. How often should I renew my ISO certificate?
Every 12 months your 3rd party JAS-ANZ accredited body will return to audit your system. This is a requirement to maintain certification.
11. What are the costs involved in implementing a safety environmental management System?
As mentioned in point 3 above, ISO Certification costs vary dependent on the size of your business, level of complexity and standard to which the company is already run with regards to processes and procedures. If you decide to implement more than one standard at the same time, there are some reduced fees available.
12. Can I develop an ISO quality management system myself?
Yes, you will need the internal resource with know-how and available time to achieve this.
